Ledgent Finance & Accounting is hiring immediately for a Senior Accountant in the greater Tampa area. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage complex financial processes. Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

$85,000-$95,000 - Hybrid options

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
